Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy is ensuring that his players are excelling both on and off the field.
Three Cowboys players — running back Justice Hill, offensive guard Brad Lundblade and tight end Britton Abbott — all received CoSIDA Academic All-America honors on Thursday. It was the most of any team in the nation.

Hill and Lundblade earned first-team honors while Abbott received second-team honors.
Hill may have been the most versatile of the trio this season. The sophomore from Tulsa, Okla. rushed for 1,347 yards and 14 touchdowns during the 2017 regular season. He additionally caught for 191 yards and a touchdown.
Oklahoma State will wrap up 2017 with a trip to the Camping World Bowl in Orlando, Fla. on Dec. 28. The Cowboys will face No. 22 Virginia Tech in the contest.
