Oklahoma-Ohio State this season’s second-most watched game so far

The epic matchup between Oklahoma and Ohio State was the second most watched game in college football, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

The Oklahoma-Ohio State game is also the only game to feature a matchup between teams currently ranked in the Top 25.

Florida State-Alabama dwarfs every other game on the list, drawing more than twice the viewership as half of the top ten most-watched games.

The Sooners’ matchup with Ohio State was a fair margin ahead of Michigan-Florida, but was well ahead of every other matchup on the list.

Oklahoma beat Ohio State in the Horseshoe 31-16 behind 386 passing yards from Heisman hopeful Baker Mayfield. The Sooners are the only Big 12 team who played in a game featured on the list.

The hype for Oklahoma has died off since they were upset by Iowa State, but there’s a clear path back to the College Football Playoff, provided the Sooners beat Oklahoma State and TCU.
