All that matters this week is which side of the 50-yard line you’ll be on during the Red River Showdown.
When the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns take the field at the Cotton Bowl on Saturday, will you boast crimson or burnt orange?
With arguably the greatest rivalry in college football just days away, few among the Sooner faithful need that extra boost to gear themselves up for Saturday’s always-anticipated and bitter matchup with the Longhorns. That didn’t stop Oklahoma from dropping this spine-chilling hype video, though, asking the Sooner nation, when the Cotton Bowl is split evenly down the middle, where does your loyalty lie?
“What happens over the next three hours is so much more than a football game — it’s an American tradition.”
“Are you a Sooner, or do you sit on the other side of the 50? Which side are you on?”

Texas currently leads the all-time series with Oklahoma, 61-45-5. The Horns and Sooners have exchanged victories throughout each of their last four meetings with Oklahoma coming out on top in last year’s edition of the Red River Showdown, 45-40.
Now entering a new era with each stories program guided by a new coach, Oklahoma and Texas will square off once again on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
