Ohio State officially reveals alternate, all-gray uniforms for Penn State game

Ohio State has officially revealed its alternate uniforms for the Saturday home game against Penn State.

The No. 6 Buckeyes will have an all-grey look against No. 2 Nittany Lions. The jersey, pants and helmet will all be in grey. The helmet will include different color buckeye stickers. They will be scarlet for the game.

Leaks of the uniform had been going out before the Buckeyes officially showed the complete look. That included early looks at the jersey and a helmet.

Ohio State and Penn State play at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 28. The game is on FOX.

Ohio State isn’t a stranger to wearing different uniforms for huge games. In fact, the Buckeyes wore all-black uniforms against Penn State the last time the Nittany Lions visited. In 2015, Ohio State called those alternates “Dark Night at The Shoe.

Ohio State also had a different look last season for the Michigan game. The Buckeyes noticeably wore matte black helmets. Ohio State also wore black helmets earlier in the season against Nebraska.
