Ohio State’s Mike Weber, Parris Campbell, Jalyn Holmes will play vs. Penn State, Urban Meyer says

Ohio State saw multiple players go down with injuries during its Week 7 win over Nebraska, but Urban Meyer says they will play against Penn State on Saturday.

Mike Weber, Parris Cambpell, Jalyn Holmes and Jamarco Jones all left at various points during Ohio State’s win over Nebraska in Week 7, and Urban Meyer says all of them will play against Penn State on Saturday.

Meyer called the group “probable” during Ohio State’s bye week, so it appears each player is proceeding on schedule. Ohio State’s coach was right to the point in describing the status of each:

“They’re playing.”

Demario McCall’s status against Penn State is “to be determined,” Meyer said. McCall last played in Ohio State’s Week 6 win over Maryland, when he had 3 carries for 8 yards.

Ohio State-Penn State is as big as it gets in the Big Ten’s regular season this year. The game will be a huge part of the Big Ten championship race, so the Buckeyes will need all hands on deck. Ohio State is a 7-point favorite, and the game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Fox.
