Ohio State CB Kendall Sheffield sets school record in 60-meter dash

Kendall Sheffield can flat out fly.

OK, he may not have wings, but the cornerback for the Buckeyes’ football team is faster than you. On Friday, Sheffield competed in the 60-meter dash for the Buckeyes’ track and field team and set a school record with his time of 6.63.

Take a look — and you may have to watch it two or three times because of how quick Sheffield is.

Urban Meyer approved:

Sheffield, a sophomore, was rated as the No. 1 cornerback coming out of junior college by 247Sports. He recorded 40 tackles this past season and had 9 pass deflections while forcing and recovering one fumble as well.

Back in his high school track and field days, he also won the 2014 and 2015 Texas state 5A 110-meter hurdles championships — showcasing the speed he has to burn.
