There’s a new twist to the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry with QB Shea Patterson transferring to Michigan from Ole Miss.

That means Patterson is likely to play against Buckeyes QB Dwayne Haskins, who came in for the injured J.T. Barrett and led Ohio State to a 31-20 win.

On Monday, Patterson announced on Twitter that he was transferring to Michigan. It didn’t take long for Haskins to respond.

“Rivalry just got a little more interesting bro,” Haskins tweeted.

“Thank you to the wonderful people, teammates and coaches at Ole Miss,” Patterson said. “It is a special place and I will always have great memories of my experiences in Oxford. I am now excited to announce my commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at The University of Michigan. It’s time to go to work. #GoBlue.”
