With Ohio State offensive lineman Branden Bowen lost for the season with a broken leg, the Buckeyes have another position battle on their hands.
Urban Meyer said the battle for Ohio State’s right guard spot is “wide open” after Bowen’s injury. There are three main candidates to fill the slot: Matthew Burrell, Demetrius Knox and Malcolm Pridgeon. Burrell and Knox were listed as co-starters on the Buckeyes’ Week 7 depth chart, which was released Tuesday.
