Ohio State’s basketball managers hilariously show off curling skills

With the start of the Olympics, it seems like everyone is watching and talking about curling. But how many people are actually grabbing a broom and trying their hand at the sport?

Enter the Ohio State basketball team’s managers. The hilarious video is below. Enjoy.

The managers seem to have the form down pat. Soon after the “stone” is released, a voice yells: “Sweep.” On cue, the two managers furiously sweep back and forth, guiding the stone to the center of the Ohio State logo on the hardwood. Satisfied with a job well done, the managers exchange high fives and walk out of view, presumably to go watch curling film and further perfect their skills.

The response to the video has been overwhelmingly positive. USA Curling seemed pleased:

The Olympics, of course, are ongoing, with the Mixed Doubles Gold Medal Match for curling between Canada and Switzerland set for Tuesday. Perhaps the competitors will be watching the Ohio State video for some pregame inspiration.
