NFL Network ranks former Oklahoma Sooners surprisingly low in draft rankings

The NFL Network’s Mike Mayock has given several former Oklahoma Sooners some very questionable rankings in his 2018 NFL Draft position rankings.

In the quarterbacks column, Mayock has Baker Mayfield ranked fourth, below Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, and Josh Rosen. The jury is still out on which quarterback from this class will find the most success, but Mayfield having more passing yards, passing touchdowns, and a better completion percentage than the three ranked higher than him in 2017 has to count for something.

Tight end Mark Andrews is ranked fourth as well, behind Hayden Hurst, Dallas Goedert, and Mike Gesicki. Andrews had more receiving yards and receptions in 2017 than all three, and had more receiving touchdowns than all but Gesicki.

Orlando Brown is ranked second among tackles, which seems to be fine. However, ranking Mayfield and Andrews so low is puzzling at best.
