Nebraska recruiting: Katerian LeGrone de-commits from UCF following official visit with Huskers

The Nebraska coaching staff offered only two prospects who were committed to UCF, their previous coaching staff.

One, 3-star wide receiver Justin McGriff, committed to Nebraska last week following his official visit. Now, the staff is hoping it can flip 3-star tight end Katerian LeGrone, the other Knights commit they offered with the Huskers.

The first step of that process is complete, as LeGrone de-committed from UCF on Sunday following his official visit to Lincoln.

Now, it appears LeGrone’s commitment to Nebraska is imminent.

LeGrone is the No. 55 tight end prospect in the class, per the 247Sports composite. He is 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds and would provide a physical option in the passing game. LeGrone attends Best Academy in Atlanta.

Stay tuned to Land of 10 as LeGrone’s commitment status develops.
