Nebraska football has added six games to its schedules, starting with the 2020 season.
The Huskers added three games against South Dakota State, two games against North Dakota and one game against Georgia Southern. The first two teams are in the FCS; Big Ten teams can schedule FCS teams in seasons when there are only four conference home games.
Georgia Southern is a member of the Sun Belt Conference.
Nebraska football: Added games to future schedules
- South Dakota State: Sept. 12, 2020; Aug. 31, 2024, Sept. 9, 2028
- North Dakota: Sept. 3, 2022; Sept. 19, 2026
- Georgia Southern: Sept. 10, 2022
The 2020 game against South Dakota State forced a date change to the Cincinnati game. The game against the Bearcats moved two weeks to Sept. 26, 2020. The Huskers are 3-0 against South Dakota State all-time.
