NCAA Tournament upsets: All-time March Madness shockers

Each year in college basketball’s NCAA Tournament, there is that one team that breaks everyone’s brackets.

Remember when Middle Tennessee defeated Michigan State in 2016? Or what about when Lehigh upset Duke in 2012? And its impossible to forget Florida Gulf Coast’s magical run in 2013.

While a No. 16-seeded team has never defeated a No. 1 seed, there has been numerous occasions of a lower seed defeating a top-5 ranked team during March Madness.

We’ve put together a list of some of the biggest upsets in NCAA Tournament history. See below for the full list.
