Missouri gains commitment from WR Shamar Nash

Missouri had good recruiting news break Thursday.

Wide receiver Shamar Nash, a 4-star wide player from Memphis, Tenn., announced his commitment to the Tigers. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound athlete is ranked as the No. 34 wide receiver for the Class of 2019. He attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., and he’s ranked as the No. 29 overall player in Florida for his class.

He broke down his decision in a message published on Twitter, which you can see below:

Missouri will enter its third season under coach Barry Odom in 2018. The Tigers are 11-14 under Odom, and they finished 7-6 last year after a loss to Texas in the Texas Bowl.

Per 247Sports, Missouri gained Nash’s commitment over notable interest from Tennessee and Ole Miss. He received an offer from the Tigers in September.
