Time to party over Michael Porter Jr., Missouri fans.

Porter reportedly has given Tigers basketball fans great news, with a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein surfacing Thursday that the freshman has been cleared for all basketball activities.

It has been a long wait for Missouri fans, who began the season with anticipation to watch the much-hyped Porter, only to see him sustain a back injury that has kept him out in each game after Missouri’s season-opening victory against Iowa State on Nov. 10. Porter underwent surgery for the injury that initially came with a three-to-four month recovery period.

Earlier this month, Porter said he would “love” to play a few games before the postseason and that his condition was improving. He was the No. 2 overall recruit in the 247Sports 2017 composite rankings, and he’s expected to be a high NBA draft selection after this season, if he decides to become a professional soon.

Shortly after Rothstein’s report, a number of Missouri fans used Twitter to express their opinions about the development. And yes, they were pumped. We’ve collected a sampling below.
