Missouri HS coach asks his players 5 meaningful questions as they’re picking a college

It’s good to see some high school coaches focused on what’s important, shining a truthful light on the path that lies ahead beyond the recruiting trail for young prospects.

Carl Reed, head coach of Lutheran North in St. Louis and the coach of 4-star DE Ronnie Perkins, is certainly one of those coaches.

On Monday morning, Reed posted this list of five questions that he asks his players who are choosing where they’ll continue their football careers.

Of course, the decision ultimately rests in the hands of the players, but kudos to Reed for keeping them focused on what will likely bring success and happiness with the choice they make.

The 6-foot-2, 256-pound Perkins is an Oklahoma commit who’s ranked as one of the top 100 players in the country and the No. 6 weakside DE, according to the 247Sports composite.
