Missouri didn’t miss star running back Damarea Crockett on Saturday, as the Tigers took it to Idaho, beating the Vandals 68-21. But they might miss him in the future.
According to Mizzou head coach Barry Odom, as reported by the Kansas City Star’s Aaron Reiss, Crockett is ‘going to be out a while:’

Crockett injured the shoulder during the Tigers 53-28 loss to Georgia last Saturday. For much of the last two seasons, he has been the program’s featured back, even setting the program record for most rushing yards by a freshman in 2016.
In his place, Missouri will likely rely on a pretty even combination of senior Ish Witter and freshman Larry Rountree. The Tigers travel to UConn next week before heading into a second half of the SEC schedule that features several winnable games.
