NFL Network’s Mike Mayock believes UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen is the best passer of the football that he’s seen in recent years.
While speaking on a Monday conference call, Mayock dropped some high praise for the UCLA quarterback.
“Josh Rosen is the best pure passer I’ve seen in several years. He’s accurate short, intermediate and deep,” Mayock said, per NFL Network’s Chase Goodbread. “[I’m] worried about his durability.”
Rosen passed for 9,341 yards, 59 touchdowns and 26 interceptions in 30 career games at UCLA.
Maycock is not alone with his concern about Rosen’s durability. Rosen was injured in his last two years with the Bruins. Other draft analyst are questioning Rosen’s leadership ability and his commitment to the game of football.
Nobody, however, is worried about Rosen’s ability to play the quarterback position. Rosen will have a chance to silence some of his critics this week at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Many project the UCLA product to be a top-10 selection in the 2018 NFL Draft.
