Mike Leach employs firm to aid in Texas Tech dispute

The Mike Leach-Texas Tech saga just became a bit more intense.

Leach, the former Red Raiders head coach, is alleging that Texas Tech still owes him millions of dollars from 2009. Texas Tech fired Leach that season due to allegations that he mistreated one of his players, Adam James.

Now, according to Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today, Leach is enlisting a firm to help him in his case. Dolcefino Consulting, an investigative firm based out of Houston, will work with Leach to pressure Tech into paying him.

Last week, Leach launched a website outlining his cause. It touches on everything from sovereign immunity laws to old Jim Rome Show interviews. He also called for a rally supporting his cause when the Red Raiders played West Virginia on Saturday.

It seems that Leach, now the coach at Washington State, is dead set on outlasting Texas Tech in this feud. Earlier this year, he referred to some administration members in Lubbock as “outright crooks.”
