Michigan rolls out red carpet for QB Shea Patterson

Michigan hosted Mississippi transfer Shea Patterson on campus this weekend, along with safety Deontay Anderson and wideout Van Jefferson. The Wolverines will hope to sign Patterson, in particular, during a 72-hour window spanning Dec. 20-22, in which schools and players can end the recruiting process and formalize their relationships.

Wolverines stun Bruins in OT

Michigan wiped out a 15-point second-half deficit against UCLA to send the game to overtime, where the Wolverines ran away from the Bruins for a 78-69 win Saturday. Michigan improved to 8-3 (1-1 Big Ten) this season.

Former Michigan WR rips Jim Harbaugh

Former Michigan and NFL wide receiver Amani Toomer criticized Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh over the weekend, citing Harbaugh’s 1-5 record against rivals Michigan State and Ohio State. Toomer played for the Wolverines from 1992-1995 before embarking on a 13-year NFL career with the New York Giants.

Former Michigan OL understands Maurice Hurst’s dilemma

Detroit Lions guard Graham Glasgow played three seasons with defensive tackle Maurice Hurst at Michigan, and he understands Hurst’s dilemma about playing in the Outback Bowl.
