Michigan DB Lavert Hill apologizes for flipping off Penn State crowd

Michigan defensive back Lavert Hill has made a statement apologizing for his actions after the Penn State game on Saturday.

Hill, a former Penn State commit, flipped off the Penn State crowd after the Nittany Lions beat the Wolverines, 42-13.

On Monday, Hill made an official statement shared by the Michigan athletic department.

“I sincerely regret my inappropriate gesture at the end of  Saturday’s  football game,” Hill said in the statement. I let my emotions get the best of me and learned a valuable lesson. I am truly sorry for this offensive gesture and vow that it will not happen again.”
