Brandon Peters ranked No. 29 among bowl QBs
ESPN and Pro Football Focus ranked 78 starting quarterbacks in bowl games based on their pro potential. Steve Palazzolo of Pro Football Focus wrote that Michigan quarterback Brandon Peters, who came in at No. 29 on the list, must do “a better job of making plays within the flow of the offense after ranking 16th in percentage of negatively graded throws.”

2018 QB battle to define Jim Harbaugh legacy
Tom Dienhart of BTN.com writes that Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh’s decision at quarterback will likely define his coaching legacy with the Wolverines. If Ole Miss quarterback Shea Patterson, who announced his transfer to Michigan on Monday, is allowed to play in 2018, Harbaugh will have to decide between Patterson and Peters.
S Deontay Anderson won’t follow Shea Patterson to Michigan
Mississippi safety Deontay Anderson tweeted Wednesday that he won’t be following Ole Miss teammate Shea Patterson to Michigan. The former-blue chip recruit told TheWolverine’s Andrew Vailliencourt that his transcripts didn’t go through, and that he therefore wouldn’t transfer to Michigan.
Jim Harbaugh makes change to staff
Sporting News reports that strength and conditioning coach Kevin Tolbert won’t return to the Wolverines in 2018 following three years with the team. Tolbert had worked for Harbaugh for nine seasons, starting when Harbaugh was coach at Stanford in 2009.
