Mason Rudolph, James Washington ranked among top draft prospects at their positions

Former Oklahoma State stars Mason Rudolph and James Washington are both among the top prospects at their positions, according to NFL Network’s Mike Mayock.

Mayock released his draft prospect position rankings ahead of the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine, and both Rudolph and Washington ranked among the top five players at their respective positions. Rudolph tied for fifth among quarterbacks with Louisville’s Lamar Jackson. Washington ranked fourth among receivers.

Rudolph has already said that he believes he’s the best quarterback available in the 2018 NFL Draft. He has occasionally been projected as a first-round pick, but could end up being taken in the second round. Washington won the Biletnikoff, awarded to the best receiver in college football, in 2017. However, his size and the style of offense he played in at Oklahoma State may concern some NFL scouts.

Both players will get the chance to improve their draft stock when the combine begins later this month. Oklahoma State will then hold its annual Pro Day on March 15.

Here are Mayock’s top players at quarterback and receiver.

1. Sam Darnold, USC
