LSU football podcast: Devin White is the 2017 MVP and this is why it’s not even close

LSU football is the No. 1 topic of discussion every day on SEC Country’s  One Team, One Podcast. Host  Carter ‘The Power” Bryant shares why LSU star linebacker Devin White is LSU’s Most Valuable Player this season. Also, Bryant puts White’s play into historical perspective, chats about the upcoming challenges for LSU basketball and the crazy week ahead in recruiting with the early signing period.

Devin White’s 2017 was masterful

White pieced together one of the greatest seasons in the history of LSU football. He was the first player to win the SEC Defensive Player of the Week four times.

White’s statistics were off the charts. His SEC-leading 127 tackles was 64 more than the next highest Tiger. Defensive tackle Christian LaCouture raked in 63.

Also, White was one of the biggest leaders after the disastrous losses against Troy. Bryant explains why this was so important.

Fact of the Day

After discussing some LSU basketball and how the early signing period will affect the Tigers, Bryant was hit with a Fact of the Day regarding two NBA legends.
