LSU football podcast: Devin White is college football’s best linebacker

LSU football is the No. 1 topic of discussion every day on SEC Country’s  One Team, One Podcast. Host  Carter ‘The Power” Bryant lays out why SEC leading tackler Devin White has been college football’s best linebacker. Also, SEC Country’s recruiting ace Sam Spiegelman hopped on to chat about elite 2019 running back Noah Cain, the loss of quarterback Justin Fields to Georgia and the Tigers’ massive visitor list for Auburn.

Devin White’s dominance

White has been LSU’s best player. His 62 tackles leads the SEC and he is only getting better.

Bryant says White’s season is even more special because of what he has done off the field. He has been the team’s vocal leader and has backed up his trash talk to the opposition. The team would be in shambles without his leadership.

White has also not had the same supporting cast past great LSU linebackers have had. He should be one of the favorites to win the Dick Butkus award and is on pace to be first team All-America.

Noah Cain & Nadab Joseph’s recruitment

LSU’s 2019 class is projected to be Ed Orgeron’s golden group. The key offensive piece is 5-star running back Noah Cain. Spiegelman shares why the Tigers are the leaders for his services.

The Tigers 2018 class could use 4-star cornerback Nadab Joseph, who narrowed his choices down to LSU, Alabama and Georgia. Spiegelman explains why Alabama is currently winning this recruiting battle.

LSU vs Auburn visitor list

Spiegelman believe Saturday’s tilt against Auburn could be the biggest recruiting weekend of the season. He breaks down the impressive list of expected visitors.
