It looks like Louisville fans will need to wait longer to see Jaylen Smith back on the field for the Cardinals.
According to a report by Courier-Journal beat writer Jake Lourim, Smith had a brace on his left wrist during the team’s arrival to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Smith has been hampered by a left wrist injury suffered during Louisville’s game against Clemson on September 16 and hasn’t played since then.
It appeared Jaylen Smith was still wearing that brace on his left wrist during Card March. Wouldn't count on him playing today.

On Wednesday, Louisville coach Bobby Petrino said that Smith was day-to-day and that the junior wide receiver practiced on Tuesday.
“He was out there last night and ran around, caught the ball,” Petrino said earlier this week. “It’s a day-by-day thing. We’ll see how he progresses as the week goes on.”
In three games this year, Smith has made 22 catches for 379 yards and 2 touchdowns. Last season, he was good for 6 touchdowns, 27 catches and 599 yards, with his 22.2 yards per catch ranking fifth among all players in FBS.
