LOOK: Which SEC uniform is the worst of all-time?

Many SEC teams have experimented with alternate uniforms through the years. On Monday, the latest one was unveiled by Florida, which will wear swamp-themed attire this week at home against Texas A&M.

Many Florida fans have been asking to switch their uniforms up for a while, or to at least incorporate the Gator logo or scales in some way like the basketball team or in other UF sports.

However, the Gators have gotten a lot of negative responses about these.

Still, let’s be real. Florida isn’t the first, and won’t be the last, to test out some new uniforms. Here are a few questionable ones that fans recalled in a story by

In fact, we can start with the Gators.

Everyone has an itch to break out some black. What better time to try that than Halloween? Tennessee wore these in Lane Kiffin’s only season as head coach in Knoxville in 2009. The Vols did notch a 31-13 victory over the Gamecocks.

LSU rarely deviates from its traditional white jerseys, wearing anything else very sparingly. However, the Tigers did give gold jerseys a shot.

LSU has also donned this version of their purple jerseys.

The Bulldogs aren’t immune to the itch to go black. Well, it makes more sense for Georgia since it’s one of their official colors, but many fans didn’t think these looked right.

Texas A&M has incorporated black in its uniforms on more than one occasion. However, the Aggies wore these glow-in-the-dark helmets against the Gamecocks on Halloween 2015, despite the kickoff being at noon ET.

Those are just a few, but feel free to comment with any SEC uniforms you feel should be included in this discussion.
