LOOK: Notre Dame reveals jersey for Citrus Bowl vs. LSU

Notre Dame will face LSU in the Citrus Bowl on Jan. 1 from Orlando, Florida.

The Fighting Irish will be looking sharp for the showdown, as they’re donning their dark jersey as revealed by the equipment crew on Thursday.

Ignited by the play of Josh Adams (1,169 yards, nine touchdowns), Notre Dame is averaging 279 rushing yards per game, which is No. 7 in the FBS.

This will be the 12th all-time meeting between the Tigers and Irish in a series that dates to 1970. Notre Dame holds a 6-5 edge in the series. The Irish beat LSU 31-28 in their most recent showdown, the 2014 Music City Bowl.
