If you thought you were seeing things, we’re here to tell you that it’s not a mirage.

That’s right — Texas Tech football coach Kliff Kingsbury is in the house for the Red Raiders’ NCAA Tournament date with Florida in Dallas, Texas — and he has some pretty good seats for the occasion as well.

Kingsbury was spotted at the American Airlines Center during the first half of the contest. That was after spending some time at the nearby W Hotel for a pregame party earlier in the day.

Kingsbury even managed to get a photo with Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten during the game.

He now has the chance to watch Texas Tech return to the Sweet Sixteen — and maybe join coach Chris Beard for a late-night Whataburger trip too if Red Raiders fans are indeed celebrating at the end of the night.

Texas Tech trailed Florida 43-40 several minutes into the second half. The Red Raiders previously defeated Stephen F. Austin in round one of the tournament.
