LOOK: Kirk Herbstreit sends advanced congratulations to Kentucky following Cincinnati loss

ESPN college football announcer Kirk Herbstreit might have played at Ohio State, but he has a spot in his heart for the city of Cincinnati as well, including the Bearcats.

Herbstreit was on the losing end of one of the biggest comebacks in NCAA Tournament history on Sunday, as Nevada recovered from a 22-point deficit to take down the Bearcats. With the loss, Herbstreit went ahead and wished a hearty congratulations to another team: the Kentucky Wildcats.

Cincinnati, the No. 2 seed in the South Region, would have likely played the Wildcats in the regional final, but now Kentucky has a pretty clear road to the Final Four with all of the top four seeds – Virginia, Cincinnati, Tennessee and Arizona – out of the tournament.

Kentucky fans might not ever forgive Herbstreit if this comes back to jinx them.
