Tennessee has an enormous task ahead of it in Tuscaloosa today.
The Volunteers are reeling, Butch Jones’ seat is scorching hot, and redshirt freshman Jarrett Guarantano will be making just his second career start and his first on the road.
But the most confident person surrounding the Vols program may not be a player or coach but rather Guarantano’s dad. He tweeted this message to the Crimson Tide ahead of the Third Saturday in October matchup.
Goliath, you get a chance to meet Jarrett Guarantano today, I promise you that he WONT be afraid of you.

Hopefully for Tennessee, that mindset is shared by the entire team, so that at the very least, the Volunteers can put together a solid game and remain competitive with top-ranked Alabama.
But nonetheless, bold move here from the elder Guarantano. Often it’s best to let sleeping giants, or Goliaths, lie.
