Last weekend, Nick Saban referred to the media coverage of his Alabama team as “rat poison.” He doesn’t like his players buying into the positive hype surrounding them.

During Saturday’s ESPN broadcast of the Crimson Tide’s home matchup with Arkansas, commentators Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler poked fun at Saban’s comments. The duo pulled out a rat poison prop as they discussed the earlier comments.

Take a look below:

Whether Saban’s players listen to the “rat poison” or not, it doesn’t appear to ever affect them. Damien Harris scored a 75-yard touchdown run on the Tide’s first play against the Razorbacks to immediately give them a 7-0 lead.

Alabama entered this matchup with Arkansas as the No. 1-ranked team in the country, starting the year a perfect 6-0.
