Bret Bielema no longer is Arkansas’ coach, but that didn’t stop him from publishing a classy message about one of his former players.

On Wednesday, Bielema responded to a tweet from Arkansas’ Twitter account that broke down the All-America honors for Razorbacks center Frank Ragnow. By seeing the message below, you can check out Ragnow’s recent recognition. The list is impressive, for sure.

Bielema thought so, too.

That’s a classy move from Bielema.

It would be easy for the former Arkansas coach to disappear into the background with the Razorbacks moving into a new era under Chad Morris, who arrives in Fayetteville after working as SMU’s coach. But the connection Bielema formed with Ragnow clearly remains strong, and it’s cool that Bielema made his praise for the player public.

It remains to be seen what the next step will be for Bielema, after he went 29-34 as Arkansas’ coach from 2013-17. He was dismissed after the Razorbacks finished this season 4-8 following a loss to Missouri on Nov. 24.
