Mack Wilson made it clear that Alabama players want to see Nick Saban hoist another trophy soon.
On Saturday night, the Crimson Tide linebacker used Twitter to post an image of Alabama coach Nick Saban holding a national championship trophy. With the image, Wilson included a message that reveals the “tunnel vision” Crimson Tide players plan to use in the upcoming College Football Playoff.
Alabama plays Clemson in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1. If the Crimson Tide win, they will advance to the national championship game and face the winner of the Rose Bowl between Georgia and Oklahoma.
You have to admire Wilson’s drive. It’s not a surprise that he wants to see Saban win another title. It would be more of a shock if he or any of his teammates didn’t feel that way.
We’ll see if Alabama can advance against a strong Clemson team, which enters the matchup against the Crimson Tide in New Orleans with a 12-1 record and with an ACC title. Some consider the Tigers as a favorite to win a second consecutive national title.
This one will be fun, no doubt.
