Lonzo Ball set to make return to Los Angeles Lakers on Friday

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball will return to the court on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks. Ball has been sidelined with  a sprained left MCL and has not played since Jan. 13.

Big Baller Brand’s Twitter page announced the return.

The Lakers have gone 8-7 since Ball has been on the bench, but the team desperately wants its star rookie back on the court. Ball, 20, is averaging 10.2 points, 7.1 assists and 7.1 rebounds per game so far this season.

Ball is ranked No. 10 in points per game, No. 3 in rebounds per game and No. 2 in assists per game among all rookies.
