KaVontae Turpin’s 90-yard punt return in TCU’s victory against Kansas was electrifying. The Spanish call of the play might be even better.
Miguel Cruz, the play-by-play announcer of TCU’s Spanish language broadcast, delivered the call as Turpin caught at the 10-yard line and weaved back toward his own end zone before finding a gap. After Turpin raced downfield for a touchdown, Cruz then capped his call with “Hasta la vista, baby!”

Turpin’s return earned him Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week honors. It was his first punt return touchdown of 2017 but the third of his career, tying him for the school record.
Only a junior, Turpin certainly has the chance to provoke plenty more exciting calls from Cruz.
