This prediction should be one of the least surprising of the college football season.
Auburn hasn’t won a road game at LSU since 1999. And former LSU coach Les Miles doesn’t think that streak is about to end Saturday.
“I’m buying the Tigers at home,” Miles said on the second episode of his “Les is More” podcast. “I’m not buying those other Tigers, those Tigers don’t count. I’m taking the real Tigers, I’m talking about the purple and gold, the helmets that are recognized across the country as the Tigers — LSU Tigers.”

Miles coached at LSU from 2005-16 before being fired early during the 2016 season. And while his pick may seem like he’s playing favorites, LSU does lead the all-time series against Auburn 17-5-1 in games played in Baton Rouge.
LSU is also coming off a big road win over Florida that may have saved its season.
LSU and Auburn kick off this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
