Kentucky coach John Calipari is in on the #MyInsideOut challenge started by former Wildcats center Isaac Humphries.
Calipari posted a picture on Instagram Monday evening with an inside-out Kentucky basketball shirt and a sign reading “#MyInsideOut.”
I hear @isaachumphries7 challenged me for the #MyInsideOut campaign. I love it and love what Isaac is doing with his platform to spread the word about acceptance of everyone. What a great message. Servant leadership at its best. Let’s keep spreading the word. I’m nominating two of Isaac’s teammates, @skal_lab and @swipathefox, and … @champagnepapi! #MyInsideOut
Humphries, who left Kentucky after his sophomore season to play professionally in his native Australia, started the Inside Out campaign Monday.
“Everybody will be encouraged to wear their shirt or other items of clothing inside out to promote acceptance of everybody, irrespective of race, color, religion, gender, size or sexuality,” according to the Inside Out Campaign website.
The campaign is meant to discourage bullying, something Humphries struggled with growing up.
Calipari challenged former Kentucky players De’Aaron Fox and Skal Labissiere to go “Inside Out.”
