Kansas set to face Seton Hall in round 2 of NCAA Tournament

Kansas men’s basketball will face Seton Hall in the second round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

Seton Hall (8) defeated North Carolina State (9) on Thursday, 94-83, to earn a date with the Jayhawks (1). The two will face off back in Wichita, Kan. on Saturday, March 17.

Kansas defeated Penn (16) earlier on Thursday, 76-60. The Jayhawks struggled out of the gate, once trailing by 10 points, but took a halftime lead and never looked back.

Seton Hall finished the regular season tied for third in the Big East with a 10-8 record in conference play. The team suffered a quarterfinals exit in the Big East Tournament after losing to Butler.

Kansas is coming off a 14th consecutive season with a least a share of the Big 12 regular season title. The Jayhawks defeated West Virginia to win the Big 12 Tournament on March 10, completing the conference title sweep in 2018.
