Nebraska has its third commit since Scott Frost took over as head coach. 3-star WR Justin McGriff announced his commitment to the Huskers on Monday night.

McGriff originally committed to UCF when Frost was the coach there, and didn’t take long to follow his coach to Lincoln. He took an official visit to Nebraska over the weekend, and came back “impressed,” he told Land of 10’s Chris Bumbaca.

McGriff said Sean Beckton, who coached tight ends at UCF and followed Frost to Nebraska, was a key part of his recruitment to the Knights.

The Tampa, Fla. prospect says he plans on signing his National Letter of Intent in February, not during the new Early Signing Period next week. He is the No. 167 player at his position and No. 164 recruit in Florida, per the 247Sports composite.

After 4-star WR commit Joshua Moore announce his de-commitment on Sunday, Nebraska received pledges from 4-star safety C.J. Smith and 3-star WR Jaron Woodyard.
