UCLA junior QB Josh Rosen has been added to the watch list for the Manning Award, given annually to the nation’s top QB.
Rosen has been named the Manning Award Star-of-the-Week four times over the course of his career. The junior currently leads the country in passing yards (2,135), yards per game (427), total offense (431.6) and completions per game (31.8).
The Bruins are currently 3-2 on the season as they head to Arizona on Saturday to take on the Wildcats. UCLA has an incredibly tough stretch of games coming up against Oregon, Washington and Utah.
Rosen is having an incredible season for the Bruins and figures to be one of the top prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft, should he decide to enter.
The Manning Award was created in 2004 and it is the only QB award given out to players after the candidates’ bowl performance. The winner is chose by a panel of the national media and the Manning family (Archie, Peyton and Eli).
