Josey Jewell is out against Northwestern. The Hawkeyes will be without their defensive leader and potential All-American candidate on Saturday on the road in Evanston.
Jewell suffered an shoulder injury last week against Illinois, but he returned to the game. He will not play against the Wildcats, according to Iowa radio broadcaster Gary Dolphin. Starting Iowa safety Brandon Snyder is also out for the game.
