Joe Thomas reveals injury sustained as torn tricep tendon, surgery coming soon

Joe Thomas, the left tackle for the Cleveland Browns, is an absolute warrior.

The former Wisconsin Badgers’ stalwart offensive lineman had a streak of not only starting in every game since being drafted by the Browns running, but a 10,363-snap streak going into his game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Unfortunately, in the third quarter of that game, his snap streak came to an end, as well his starting streak next week.

Thomas went down holding his left elbow after a play and took to Twitter to update fans on his health:

The support that flooded in as a response to the gut-wrenching news was heart-warming.

Not just fans took to Twitter to wish Thomas the best. Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan also gave his thoughts on Thomas’ career as a whole to this point:
