Jeff Badet will likely miss the rest of the game against Texas, according to Sooner Radio Network.

Badet scored Oklahoma’s opening touchdown of the day on a 54 yard reception thrown by quarterback Baker Mayfield. The Sooners rolled early, charging out to a 20-0 lead, but Texas has scored 10 unanswered points to make the halftime score 20-10.
Oklahoma has dominated this game, but in a rivalry of this magnitude, the rankings and stats don’t matter. The only thing that matters is the final score, and getting that check mark in the win column. All you have to do is win and it will be heralded as a good win.
The Sooners need to retake control of the middle of the field from the Texas defensive backs if they’re going to keep up this scoring pace. The Sooners crushed the Longhorn secondary early, and need to get back to carving that group up to hold onto their lead.
