The Big 12’s Newcomer of the Year, Jalen Reagor, is picking up some other honors. The latest one comes from 247 Sports, who named him a Freshman All-American.
Reagor didn’t blow anyone away in receiving yards, only tallying 407 yards on 28 catches. However, he did score seven touchdowns, and having a nose for the end zone is crucial. Reagor’s only multi-touchdown game came against Kansas, he was more or less consistent all year. The Texas Longhorns were the only team to hold him to no catches.
Reagor had a solid season, and the best is still yet to come from him. He and high school teammate Kenedy Snell are going to form a duo that’s going to be hard to stop in the very near future. For now, Reagor would settle for an Alamo Bowl win against the Stanford Cardinal, who boast a powerful running game and a solid defense. If TCU is going to win their postseason matchup, they’ll need a couple of big catches from Reagor to move the chains, or better yet, get in the end zone.
