Iowa defensive back Noah Clayberg will transfer, per report

Iowa safety Noah Clayberg will be transferring from the Hawkeyes program, according to Rob Howe of Hawkeye Nation. Clayberg will reportedly look to transfer to an FCS or NAIA school and switch to the offensive side of the ball.

A member of Iowa’s 2016 recruiting class, Clayberg took a year as a grayshirt before joining the Hawkeyes program this spring. In the 2017 season Clayberg accounted for 5 tackles.

Clayberg was ranked as a 3-star recruit out of Pella, Iowa and was the No. 6 recruit in the state during the 2016 recruiting cycle.
