Matt Corral is one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2017 recruiting class. He had been committed to Florida since July. But on Thursday night, he made a stunning move and flipped his commitment to the Ole Miss Rebels of all teams.
Corral, the No. 3 ranked pocket passer in the country, switched his commitment from Florida to Ole Miss, stunning many on Twitter.
First USC? Then Florida? Now Ole Miss? This kid's sure been a tough one to… corral.

Corral is the No. 60 player in the country and is now Ole Miss’ top commit. This is a huge win for Matt Luke and his staff, just days after losing quarterback Shea Patterson. As for Florida, Corral was the Gators highest rated commitment.
The California native is slated to sign during next week’s early signing period, which begins on Wednesday Dec. 20.
After Corral’s de-commitment, the Gators class drops to No. 32 in the country and No. 9 in the SEC. This is the second time in the span of a month that Dan Mullen has been dealt a tough defeat at the hands of Ole Miss. In his final game as Missisisppi state’s coach, Mullen lost to the Rebels, who entered the game with a 5-6 record.
With the addition of Corral, Ole Miss now no longer has the worst recruiting class in the SEC. That distinction belongs to Arkansas.
