Heisman voting shows Baker Mayfield won in a landslide

The Heisman voting was posted on Twitter by Danny Davis of the Austin American-Statesman, and it shows that Baker Mayfield absolutely dominated.

Mayfield gained 732 first place votes, more than Bryce Love’s 75 first place votes.

That’s not a fight. That’s a beatdown of monstrous proportions. That’s a completely dominating performance.

Mayfield was dominant on the field in every game he played in, and for that reason and that reason only, he won the award. The now infamous crotch grab wasn’t enough to sway the voters of the Heisman committee.

Now, Baker Mayfield can focus on the Georgia Bulldogs, his upcoming opponent in the Rose Bowl. Georgia boasts the toughest defense that Mayfield has faced all year, and you can bet your bottom dollar that he’ll be ready and raring to go.
