Headlined by QB Emory Jones, Florida to have a star-studded group of prospects on campus this weekend

It’s the final weekend for schools to have recruits on campus prior to the dead period as well as the early signing period, which begins next Wednesday. And Florida is hosting a number of talented visitors this weekend, hoping to make one final impression by signing day.

Headlining the group is 4-star quarterback Emory Jones. The No. 40 prospect in the 2018 class is visiting this weekend per SEC Country’s Zach Abolverdi. He is currently an Ohio State commit and has also received heavy interest from Alabama as well. A commitment from Jones would be huge for Florida, given that 4-star quarterback Matt Corral flipped his commitment to Ole Miss on Thursday.

In addition to Jones there is Ole Miss wide receiver Van Jefferson. He is a redshirt sophomore and despite only playing in 10 games this year he finished second on the team in catches. Jefferson previously visited Michigan, where his former quarterback— Shea Patterson—has since transferred too.

The top uncommitted prospect taking an official visit is 4-star cornerback Brendan Radley-Hines. He is the No. 47 recruit in the country and is drawing intrest from a number of schools. Radley-Hines is also set to sign earlier. Another 4-star defensive back will be visiting this weekend in Trey Dean. Dean, a safety, was previously committed to Tennessee.

Below you can see the entire list of official visitors, per Abolverdi.
