Washington Huskies offensive lineman Kaleb McGary and his family have had to deal with adversity for nearly his whole life. Now they are facing even more.
According to Adam Jude of the Seattle Times, McGary’s parents and younger brother Jonah suffered a fire at their house in Fife, Washington. The house is on the verge of being condemned and has displaced the family. Additionally, one of the family’s two RVs was also damaged in the blaze.
Kaleb’s girlfriend Brianna Shannon set up a GoFundMe to help the family rebuild. The goal is to raise $13,500.
McGary is the starting right tackle for the Huskies.
